CloudMellow is seeking an experienced and results-driven SEO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO best practices, experience with a variety of SEO tools, and a proven track record of developing and implementing successful SEO strategies for clients across various industries. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for driving organic traffic, improving search engine rankings, and delivering measurable results for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Implement search engine optimization content strategies for the agency’s clients and its own website.
- Conduct thorough website audits to identify SEO issues and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure content (blogs and on page) is optimized for relevant keywords without sacrificing quality and user experience.
- To be able to use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, RankMath/Yoast, ScreamingFrog.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, search engine algorithms, and best practices.
- To be able to speak through monthly reports showcasing SEO results (organic), improvements that were made on the content side, and recommendations for future strategies.
- Work closely with the digital marketing team to align SEO strategies with PPC, social media, and other online marketing efforts.
- To write and implement title tags, meta descriptions, and give recommendations on metadata improvement for any website.
- Understand blog best practices and leverage resources to be able to implement any content to industry standard.
Qualifications:
- Must have agency experience
- Minimum 5 years executing search engine optimization tasks for a high volume consumer website or agency
- Solid understanding of SEO principles (four main pillars, keyword research, keyword gap analysis, SEO audits, tools, and techniques)
- Proficiency in tools such as SEMrush, ScreamingFrog, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, RankMath/Yoast
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and how they impact SEO.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge on every main pillar of SEO.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications from recognized SEO platforms or institutions would be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills with experience in presenting to senior leadership
- Understanding of agency-level time tracking and project management tools
- Comfortable working with team members at all levels, including senior management
- Strong attention to detail and measurable success in campaign optimization and reporting
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects to due dates and prioritize appropriately to do so, while communicating project status regularly with stakeholders
